The type of services we can offer is: knife pleating, box pleating, crystal pleating and sunray pleating.
Our production capacity is important, as Pleat Box has at the moment a great and various number of machinery available.
Knife Pleats
Knife Pleat is formed from one pleat pointed in one direction (in general to the left) and under the heat pressure of the machine, it becomes sharp on the edge.
This type of plisee can be made from 3mm to 35mm and the fabric ratio is 3:1. The maximum width of the pleat is 13mm.
Box Pleats
Box pleats fold back and forth, to create a flat boxy plane of fabric on the outside of the garment.
Box pleats are one of the most treasured details in fashion design. They can be adjusted to different sizes; the wider, the pleat, the more fabric gets folded over and stronger the effect of each pleat.
Ratio is 3:1.
Accordion straight pleats
Accordion pleat has 2 sides, both with equal dimension, being very similar as a look to the accordion.
Dimensions from 5mm to 25mm.
Crystal Pleats
Crystal pleats are very small pleats, accordion type, with each side of the pleat dimension from 2mm to 3mm.
Sunray Pleats
Sunray Pleat is a gradual accordion pleat that is pleated in a semi-circle.
This is used in general for skirts, for the nice volume look.
